Vice President Leni Robredo’s net worth substantially dipped to just over a million pesos within a year due to the electoral protest fee.
Robredo’s Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth as of December 31, 2017 was quoted by ABS-CBN; stating that her net worth only amounts to P1,114,102.84.
Last December 2016, her net worth was P8,878,111.43. Robredo lost over P7.76 million in a year’s time. She noted that it was due to “partial counter-protest fee deposited with PET.”
Her assets also dipped from P15.78 million in 2016 to P13.01 million in 2017. Some of the assets she listed were a residential house and lot in Naga City, residential, agricultural, orchard and memorial lots, with a total acquisition cost of P1.73 million. She also listed several other personal properties including cash, furniture, appliances, and other equipment, jewelry, prepaid insurance, 2010 Toyota Innova and 2014 Toyota Grandia.
Meanwhile, Robredo’s liabilities surged from P6.9 million in 2016 to P11.9 million in 2017. She also noted her loans to several people.
